Just imagine for one moment you had one more chance in your life span to shoot a roll of film or one more memory card. All the previous images you had taken up till now would disappear with your camera and all you would own from now on would be the images on that last memory card or roll of film….. What would you shoot with that last chance in mind?

I most certainly wouldn´t waste any time on todays image!

Favourable light

At last autumn is here! I was so immersed in the gorgeous light I failed to remember autumn had already appeared until my wife reminded me it breezed in five days ago. No doubt this is my favourite season!

Autumn arrives in early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day.
Elizabeth Bowen

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
Albert Camus

Autumn wins you best by this its mute appeal to sympathy for its decay.
Robert Browning

By all these lovely tokens September days are here, With summer’s best of weather And autumn’s best of cheer.
Helen Hunt Jackson

We cling to our own point of view, as though everything depended on it. Yet our opinions have no permanence; like autumn and winter, they gradually pass away.

“Don’t shoot what it looks like, shoot what it feels like.”

 David Alan Harvey

I love this quote I read the other night on Nacho Hernandez´s

Veni Vidi Photo blog

So I´m trying and trying to shoot what sensation´s I can educe out there.

I´m strugling searching for a theme which has nothing connected to landscapes and nature, I need to change gears urgently. I´m trying to come across a theme which involves people; I require risks, opinions which contradict my presumptions. Trees, fields and sunsets just don´t challenge my viewpoints and I´ve got into a way of working which is just turned so snug .  I long for a project which I will  also feel uncomfortable with, and stretch me out of my usual photographic routine. I´m finding it very complex to look around my surroundings and discover a project which allures my attention. So I´m gazing at everything looking for it´s symbolism and possible clues for a possible theme. I´m quite sure it´s sitting right in front of my nose. However at this precise moment it´s still eluding me.

Photography is arrhythmical, one day all is created with ease, little effort and full dexterity. Another day it turns into a continual hardship, barely grasping hope, then and only then it´s when you comprehend that nature, like art and creativity have no straight lines.

Let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit.
Kahlil Gibran

Success demands singleness of purpose.
Vince Lombardi

There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.
Napoleon Hill

The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
Pablo Picasso
