Love the name of your blog. Came here via Terresa’s blog because of your blogname. Glad to see your desires are fulfilled by your camera. Beautiful pictures. Wish I could be as proficient in photoshop.

      Hey thanks!
Don´t let photoshop daunt you, keep it as simple as possible. There are loads of settings which are useless to us photographers. So just pretend they don´t exist. Apart from shooting all my images in raw, I only use levels, curves, saturation and sharpening- always as adjustments layers. Just choose an image you like and work on it over and over again without worrying about making mistakes. It´s all a process of analysis and elimination, don´t make hurried assessments either, wait till tomorrow to determine whats good or bad. Oh and always always find the correct colour balance in your image when working in colour of course and eliminate those colour casts all digital images have in the shadows, mid-tones and highlights, works wonders on an image! (You should aim for a pure black, correct mid-tones and clear white highlights and from then on, you´re free to work on your image, allowing your muse to guide you through all your creativity.
